My life for some reason, is filled with silly stories. And most of the time, I am the only one that finds them funny or silly, but to me, that's all that matters because it keeps a smile on my face and sends laughter through my organs. I feel like in turn, I shall live a long life because of this.
I met Marisela at my kids school. Our boys are all in the same class. I have a friend that also has two twin boys that go to the same school and I for some reason thought she was his wife. So I approach her, more friends is always an extra bonus, and we start chatting. I start telling her how I know her husband and that he is a minister and I see him a lot at some of the properties I work at. For some reason, she seemed a little confused and told me her husband works at the Red Rock and that he isn't a minister..... and I stop.. embarrassed of course. I picked the wrong mom with the wrong twins. We both laughed hard and I told her I was so sorry. But in turn I am so happy I did mistake her for someone else, otherwise we might not have become friends, and I wouldn't have had the opportunity to take these beautiful photos of her family.
You know sometimes when you meet someone and you just click with them? Like you feel like you were ment to be friends? That is how I feel about her whole beautiful little family. I got to chase her kids around, play in the leaves, visit the farmers market and drink some honey sticks with them, all while capturing every cute moment. One of my very favorite shoots.
